We start at 8:00 in the morning

We're getting married on November 22, 2026 in Bangkok, and we'd love everyone to celebrate the day with us.

It's a morning wedding at SOL House in Ladprao, near Jam's family. The vows are at 11:38, lunch follows, and the whole celebration fits inside one bright morning. If you've been waiting for a reason to visit this side of the world, let this be it :)

Your RSVP lives on the personal link we sent you. Everything else is right here.

The schedule

How the morning will go

8:00

Welcome & refreshments

Come a little early. Coffee and tea are out all the way through, with something to eat while everyone gathers.

9:09

Tea ceremony

We serve tea to the elders of both families. Everyone is welcome to watch and there's a seat for you. We both have Chinese roots, so this blends Chinese and Thai custom, and it matters to us as much as the vows do.

9:30

Photo session

Wander, eat, and come find us for a photo. There's a booth too, where you can take your own and print them to take home.

11:38

The vows

Thai weddings choose auspicious minutes for the moments that matter, which is why tea is poured at 9:09 and the vows begin at 11:38. Please be in your seats by 11:30.

12:00

Reception

Lunch, toasts, and two unhurried hours together. We finish at 2.

What to wear

We're asking everyone to dress formally, since there will be a lot of photos. Everything is indoors, so you won't be out in the heat. These are the wedding's colors:

Cream
Sage
Dusty rose
Warm brown

You don't need to match them exactly.

Late November is Bangkok's gentlest weather, around 31°C / 88°F at midday.

The two of us

We met in Vancouver on Christmas Eve, 2019

Six years and two cities later, we're getting married. These photographs are from our engagement: one set in Vancouver, where everything began, and one in a lupine field an hour outside Seattle, where we live now.

Peace Arch Park, 2021

The Canada–US border was closed in 2021. Jam was in Vancouver, Tony was in Seattle, and the park sits on the line between them, so we went eight times between May and July. Later that year Tony moved to Vancouver.

  • Jam and Tony under a blue pop-up tent on a sunlit lawn, other tents pitched across the grass around them
May. We brought a tent. So did everyone else.
  • Jam and Tony sitting close together inside the blue tent, both grinning at the camera
    A week later, same tent.
  • Tony striking a dramatic pose under a wooden sign reading USA CANADA BORDER, an orange boundary marker beside him
June. Tony was deep in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure at the time.
  • A screenshot of a video call at 9:18pm: Tony in the dark on the top half, and below him Jam waving with both hands, her video broken into large coloured blocks
The weeks in between looked like this.
  • A screenshot of a video call at 12:34am: Tony lying in bed on the top half, and the bottom half a blank blue panel with a loading spinner where Jam's video should be
    Jam's wifi was not good.
  • Jam and Tony lying side by side inside an orange tent, Jam laughing, both in sunglasses
July 4th, the seventh time. We stayed until it got dark.

Why Bangkok

The wedding is in Ladprao, near Jam's family

It's a residential corner of Bangkok, ten minutes from Chatuchak market and a world away from the tourist trail. Many of you are traveling a long way to be with us, and we don't take that lightly.

So we gathered everything you'll need in one place: which airport to choose, how taxis work, what to wear, and where to eat.
